Lori and Marks wedding

Lori and Mark were married a LOOOOONG time ago, but I'm just now getting around to all the blog updates! Lori and Mark are such fun, warm and committed people- it was easy to see why so many people love them dearly. Thank you guys for allowing us into your little (or big!) circle of family and friends and for sharing such an important day with us. We know you'll be happy and in love for a very long time

We were so fortunate to be near the beautiful SMU campus, we we took advantage for a few happy couple pictures! 

Lori really wanted to try and get a photo of everyone who came.... the only place large enough was the beautiful church courtyard! It was fun trying to coordinate everyone, and I think the photo turned out exactly like she wanted.

 

We liked her even though she's an aggie :0) 

Katy P bridals

Katy is one of my favorite brides of the year. She and Eric were married this fall, so I finally have the opportunity to post these. I didnt ever tell her, but when I saw her for the first time in her dress my very first thought was 'that has got to be one of the prettiest brides i've ever seen'. I loved how she remained true to herself throughout the whole wedding, and I truly hope that we did her vision justice. Here are a few of my favorites from her bridal session.

Cami and Sam Engagement

Meeting Cami and Sam was truly a very happy accident. Jason and I were waiting for an engagement session to start and out of the corner of my eye I saw something that was just interesting- I wasnt sure what was going on, but I was sure it was important. Low and behold, about 2 minutes after I grabbed my long lens, Sam dropped to one knee and asked Cami to marry him. At the risk of being totally creepy, I approached them after a few minutes to let her know that if she would like the files I'd be happy to give them to her. Fast forward several months and they've decided to use us for their upcoming summer wedding. We shot their real engagements a few months ago, and I was thrilled to see their chemistry in action! Here are just a few of my favorite photos:

Robbie and Laura are Married

Robbie and Laura were married in Denton and had their reception at the Beautiful Wildwood Inn. I used to live in Denton and have driven by the Wildwood many times, but never realized it was such a wonderful venue. Thank you guys for allowing us to work with you, it was truly a pleasure! 

I love this shot with all of Lauras sisters. Believe it or not we did not set this up, they really were all gathered around watching her get ready, it was super sweet.

Katie & Hunt are engaged

Katie and Hunt are one of our fun December wedding couples. They are absolutely adorable together and you can really tell that they have a great relationship. Hunt is a teacher in the area, and we were fortunate enough to have a few of his students as an audience during our session :0) 

We made a small pit stop at their favorite wine bar. I LOVE shooting places that actually mean something to our couples, its so much more comfortable!

I thought both of these were both so 'them', so I wanted to show both versions. 

Cassidy and Mason family session

We shot Cassidy, Mason and their two adorable puppies (ha!) a while back. The photos were primarily for their Christmas cards, but we wanted to make sure we captured their unique personalities. Enjoy!

Catching up!!

Whew, what a whirlwind of a year this has been for us!! We've moved, transitioned to Mac, added onto our team and shot some really wonderful couples! I'll be trying my hardest to update the blog over the next few days with some of our new (ok, its really almost all months old, but hey, i'm a busy girl) work for you guys to check out. We're so looking forward to 2009 and seeing what new adventures come our way!! In the mean time, enjoy the show!
